Hi there. I'm Jaime.

Born and raised a proud San Diegan, I traded my flip-flops for cowboy boots back in 2010 when I moved to Fort Worth for college. I’m horned-frog proud, earning a degree from Texas Christian University in Strategic Communications and Political Science. I extended my Texas residency when moved down I-35, to Austin, in 2014.  Which leads me to where I am now, a Senior Experience Designer at R/GA Austin. 

I have a passion for helping people and making sense of things. Cue my discovery of user experience. I love that with experience design I have the ability to create experiences that help make people’s lives BETTER and easier, every day. I enjoy design challenges that allow me to think outside of the box by questioning things generally thought to be obvious, in order to create better experiences. I’m constantly encouraged by advancing technologies, but believe people must be kept at the core of the experience.

In my free time you can find me whipping up a new recipe in the kitchen, kneading some homemade pizza dough, hanging in a hammock with a good book, jaunting around townlake or just hanging with friends.
